Where is the Tautiare Village located?
Located on the South West coast of the island, the Tautiare Village nestled by the sea and surrounded by a large garden. Not far from there, the public beach Tere’ia is easily accessible by foot or by bicycle. Also located nearby the village, the guesthouse allows you to discover the real Maupiti island: its harbor, churches, shops and snacks.
Why should you choose the Tautiare Village?
Although there is no beach, the Tautiare Village is located nearby the blue lagoon. The deep waters are home to various species of fish; the place is ideal for snorkeling. The sunset is gorgeous (especially from December to March). As far as the accommodation goes, the guesthouse offers comfortable room inside a large house surrounded by a great garden. The meals are served on a large host table, where traditional dishes, catch of the day and local products are mingled. It is possible to rent bikes for the whole day, organize a boat trip, a diving session or a hike with a tour guide (storyteller of the island). You can also could go on an adventure on your own to discover the treasures of Maupiti.
