This tour is a perfect blend for relaxation and discovering the nature and culture of the island, a pure immersion that will take away your breath and tickle your taste buds.

Your guide Yvette loves to share the Polynesian culture and her knowledge about the local plants. She will relate entertaining stories about the island’s history and culture, as you travel along the wonderful bays of Cook and Opunohu. Take a moment to appreciate the views of the swaying coconut trees on the shores and the picturesque small fare (house) on the side of the road. Discover the popular viewpoint of the Belvedere and the crater of the volcano, movie set of the world famous: Mutiny on the Bounty. Learn about the archaeological sites spread in the luxurious vegetation, testimony of the presence of many people in ancient times.

Head to the agricultural high school for a small break stoll in the gardens. There you will be able to taste jams made by the students from the fruits they grow. Conclude the tour by a visit to the locally famous Rotui factory where you will be able to taste fresh fruit juice and alcohol produced on the island. Yvette will also make sure to tell you about the legend of the mountain bearing the same name as the factory.
