I’m from Faa’a, that little green corner of the world where planes almost brush the tops of coconut trees. It’s there, in Tahiti, that I earned my high school diploma — with a heart full of dreams to explore the world... or at least its languages. English, especially, always caught my eye — a language that’s fascinated me for as long as I can remember.
But life sometimes draws unexpected paths. I put my academic dreams on hold to take care of the people who raised me. I cared for my grandmother like one would guard a treasure — with tenderness and determination.
True to my strong-willed nature, I decided to turn my dreams into something real. I launched my own brand of men’s accessories and clothing — a fashion adventure full of challenges and creativity, like a journey with every new collection.
And then there’s this passion that’s never left me: travel. If I could get paid to discover the world, I’d sign up tomorrow — unless I win the lottery first, of course! (A girl can dream, right?)
By chance, I ended up joining the amazing team at Moana Voyages... but in the end, helping others travel feels a bit like traveling with them. And that’s exactly what I love.
Your ideal stay in French Polynesia?
For the perfect Polynesian getaway, I’d start with at least 7 days in Bora Bora, followed by a trip to Moorea. Bora Bora is truly a dream destination — think overwater bungalows, crystal-clear lagoons, and incredible snorkeling with rays and sharks. You’ll want at least a week to soak it all in: mornings spent on the beach, afternoons exploring the water, and evenings watching unforgettable sunsets.
After Bora Bora, I’d head to Moorea for a more laid-back vibe. The island’s lush mountains, calm waters, and quiet beaches offer the perfect contrast.
Your favorite place in French Polynesia?
Even though I haven’t had the chance to set foot there yet (well... not yet), I can only encourage you to keep an eye on the Tuamotus if you’re dreaming of total disconnection. These atolls feel almost unreal, like they exist outside of time.
Mataiva, with its calm, untouched lagoon, seems like the perfect place to slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy.
And Fakarava is a whole other world — a lagoon designated as a biosphere reserve, diving experiences among extraordinary marine life... like stepping into a living postcard.
The white-sand beaches, the endless shades of blue, that gentle sense of isolation... everything about it draws me in. One day, I’ll go.
And until then, I’ll keep talking about it — because places like this deserve to be lived.
Your favorite restaurant?
If you love good food, you simply can’t miss our famous roulottes — and Kohai’s roulotte in Papeari is a true must-try in Tahiti.
The dishes are generous, indulgent, and bursting with flavor in every bite. It’s the perfect place to stop after a day exploring the island.
Located on the peninsula, it’s an ideal pit stop to refuel while enjoying tasty, local cuisine full of character. If you're coming to Tahiti, don’t miss it!
