In a few words
Born under the coconut trees, on a very cool night in Tahiti (22° C) , the adventure of my life began in the pleasant neighborhoods of Faa’a. My first step in discovering the world started in Ahe, in the Tuamotu islands, where the whole family had gathered for a vacation which tasted of salt and smelled like monoi. Later, I went to Bora Bora with my cousin. But this time, the adventure was more challenging, with bike rides, water buoys or in the back of cars. A few seasons of mara'amu later (southeasterly winds), I ended up discovering a panel of islands
by the sea, admiring the pastel-colored sunrises and the starry sky. I then
lived on a boat for some time, I who always had seasickness. I then took off for France and continued my master's degree in psychology, took this opportunity to continue my journey in
Europe, discover the richness and diversity of its cultures. I missed the sea and the sun too much, and, once I finished my studies, decided to return to my Fenua...
And then, one day, I was given the opportunity to introduce the richness and beauty of our islands to the world and I ended up joining the great Moana Voyages team.
Your ideal stay in French Polynesia?
A 3-day stay in Tahiti, to recover from the long flight and take a tour of the island passing through the emblematic places. Then boarding for Tetiaroa, this atypical island, for 2 days aboard a catamaran and a night of navigation to enjoy an extraordinary experience on the open sea.
Heading straight to Huahine for 3 days to enjoy the beauty of the island. Moored not
far from the Hana Iti beach, with your feet in the sand, enjoy a good raw fish with coconut milk, and
a few glasses of local rum at the local distillery.
We then fly to Bora Bora for 3 days, to enjoy its
fabulous hotels we all have dreamt of many times. And we end our magnificent stay in
Moorea, with great hikes and maritime explorations. Finally, 2 days in Tahiti to do a bit of last munite shopping and enjoy a night of Polynesian dancing!
Your favorite place in French Polynesia?
Tetiaroa was truly a favorite for all the adventures experienced during my stays. An island that holds a
thousand and one hidden resources...
Your favorite restaurant?
Hard to choose, but if you want a restaurant with an incredible view, nice cocktails, yumy fish and awesome desserts (very important), I recommend “Entre Terre
et Mer”, in the peninsula.
