I was born in Tahiti. I spent most of my life between Tahiti and Arutua, in the
Tuamotu archipelago, where my grandparents lived. Passionate about Tahitian dance, it was at
the age of 15 that I took my first “tāmau” steps and started to travel around the world thanks to 'Ori Tahiti.
Your ideal stay in French Polynesia?
My ideal stay would be two days in Tahiti, to recover from jetlag before setting
out to discover our magnificent valleys, during a a 4X4 safari tour or hiking. In the
evening and only in July, discover the not-to-be-missed Heiva i Tahiti, the most beautiful
cultural event of the year.
2 days in Moorea, starting with a lagoon tour for
an encounter with rays and sharks in a unique and wild setting.
4 days in the Austral islands, Rimatara for its lori Kuhl and its pandanus fields, Rurutu for
its caves, Tubuai for its exuberant vegetation, Raivavae and its “motu swimming
pool”, and Rapa for its fauna and flora.
4 days in Bora Bora to work on your tan and enjoy the beautiful lagoon before returning to Papeete and its market. Don’t forget to bring souvenirs!
Your favorite place in French Polynesia?
My favorite place.. obviously, Rimatara. The smallest island of the Austral archipelago where I lived for 4 years! My island of heart, simple and authentic.
Your favorite restaurant?
Vaimiti, located in To’ata, by the Paofai Park. I love their sushis and sweet potato fries, and it's even better when the whole family comes! YUMMY!
